Tenika & Cody

Tenika and Cody were wed at the courthouse in Columbus on a warm September afternoon. It was simple, intentional, and relaxed.

They technically met on a dating app in 2020, but it took two years (and plenty of mutual friends vouching for Cody) before Tenika agreed to that first official date in 2022. The very next night, they found themselves at a drive-in movie, and the rest was history. Two years later, Cody proposed at home with a custom-made ring.

Though they plan to celebrate in Spain next year surrounded by friends and family, they wanted to be officially married beforehand, choosing to say “I do” on the exact date their celebration will fall next year. A quiet beginning before the big gathering.

I loved every minute I got to spend with these two. To me, their love feels strong. Relaxed. Certain. The kind of partnership built on trust, laughter, and always choosing each other. It was an honor to play a part in telling their story.
