Whoever you choose as your documentarian, I urge you to remember this- experience matters. I’ve been photographing weddings for over eight years now, and I’ve truly seen it all. Timeline delays, sudden rainstorms, broken bustles, missing boutonnieres, emotional parents, sparkler exits gone really wrong. I don’t just show up with a camera. I show up prepared, and I relish in the thrill of the unknown.

Your photographer wears more hats than most people realize. Hype girl, dress fluffer, family wrangler, timeline guide, emotional anchor, problem solver, advocate, and friend. I step in when needed and fade back when the moment deserves to unfold naturally. The result isn’t just beautiful imagery, it’s imagery that feels honest because you felt safe. Beautiful photographs are a direct result of how you feel on your wedding day. And your photographer plays a huge role in that feeling.

When you invest in me, you’re investing in someone who knows how to read a room, anticipate emotion before it crests, find the light in any circumstance, and protect the integrity of your story. I’ll send over a wedding guide and questionnaires along the way to help you plan. I’d also love to see any inspo boards you’ve created to help me get an idea of your vision and vibe. I’m here as a resource and a friend! Whatever you need, I got you.

I can’t wait to witness and document your favorite day. Within the week after you say “I do”, you’ll receive a small wedding highlight gallery to your email. Final images will be delivered within 8-10 weeks.

I cannot say enough great things about Emily. From the start I knew she was a great fit because of her personality and humor, which I knew would be important since we'd be together all day on my wedding day. She also has such a special photographing/editing style - I knew my photos would be something I would hang up as art rather than just because they were portraits, which made me very excited to work with her. We emailed back and forth a lot and were in pretty constant communication, she did a great job of answering any/all questions I had about pretty much everything possible. On the day of, I had so much fun with her there and she fit in with our bridal party so well, it was like having another friend there to help us celebrate! She made sure we had all of the pictures we wanted before she left for the evening, which I really appreciated. We cannot recommend Emily enough. From the very beginning she was positive, organized, and an absolute expert. It was clear right away that she was more than comfortable shooting a large wedding. She gave us endless resources (including incredible vendor recommendations) and even sent gifts along the way. She answered all of my nervous questions quickly and never lost her positivity! She was our biggest cheerleader leading up to our big day. On our wedding day, her and her second shooter (Sophia- absolute gem) were early, organized, and directed us with kindness. They were patient and seemed to be everywhere at once! They blended right in in the best way- having fun and encouraging everyone to be their most authentic self. When we got our pictures back we were absolutely STUNNED. Above and beyond doesn't even cover it. Because she took the time to get to know us, our photos felt so genuine. It was the magazine/editorial look we wanted and she edited/filtered them perfectly. We will be using her for any and all photography needs for the rest of our lives for anything we can!

Emily did our engagement photos last year, and our wedding photos this past Saturday. She is so easy going and great to work with! She is the only photographer to ever make me feel comfortable getting my picture taken. She is down to travel and adventure in the woods, which are two things that are important to us. I hope to work with her again in the future for holiday or family pictures once the time comes for that!
The photographer was one of the most important vendor choices since your pictures are one of the few things you have left after the wedding and we couldn't imagine working with anyone else. The photos are well worth the investment. Cannot recommend her enough!

I really can’t thank Emily enough for all the little moments she has captured for my husband and I! I came across Emily’s Instagram page when I began my search for a wedding photographer. I searched hashtags for Ohio Weddings and kept clicking on photos I loved, all of which were Emily’s! I reached out right away and from our first FaceTime call, I knew she’d be the one to capture our Big Day. We had the opportunity to meet Emily during our engagement shoot in which she drove all the way from Columbus to Akron and spent the day with us, truly getting to know us as a couple, getting us comfortable in front of the camera and ensuring she knew how to get the great shot and genuine expressions from us for our wedding day. Needless to say, we got those engagement photos back and were blown away.
