HEY, I’m EMILY!
xx, Emily
I’m sentimental by nature, deeply nostalgic, and a full-on crybaby. I feel things deeply, notice subtle shifts in energy, and find endless joy in love and human connection. I’m endlessly curious about people. How they move through the world, how they show affection, and how emotion shows up in quiet, unspoken ways. I’m an observer at heart, drawn to the moments people don’t always realize they’re showing. People-watching has always been one of my favorite pastimes, and I genuinely believe there’s beauty in simply paying attention.
That belief shapes the way I photograph. I create space for people to be fully themselves, trusting that beauty already exists in what’s happening naturally. The result is imagery that feels less like posing for a camera and more like remembering how it felt to be there.
I do my best work with couples who invite me into their story with open, kind, and genuine hearts. Your love is my muse. My approach is rooted in storytelling, guided by a deep appreciation for nostalgia and connection, creating work that feels lived-in, honest, and timeless.

Photography has always been one of my greatest loves. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are sitting on my grandpa’s lap, flipping through photo albums from family gatherings and his time serving in WWII. From a young age, I learned that images could hold history, emotion, and entire lives within them, and that made them incredibly sacred to me.
My business has evolved in many ways since then, but my why has always remained the same. I photograph with the future in mind. With the granddaughter who will one day sit on her grandpa’s lap, turning the pages of his wedding album. To be invited into that story, and to help preserve it, will always be my greatest honor.

I feel incredibly grateful to come from a lineage of historians. My family recognized the beauty and importance of documentation, and because of that, so many moments have been preserved for me to return to again and again. These photographs are the greatest heirlooms I could have been given.
There are family members I never had the chance to meet, yet I feel so connected to them through these images. The expressions they wore, the way they dressed, how they interacted with each other. My grandpa’s work, in particular, shaped the way I see the world and is the reason I fell in love with film in the first place.
I understand the value of documentation because I’ve lived it. I’ve felt what it’s like to hold time in my hands, to see how photographs become bridges between generations. That experience is what drives everything I create.
